Australia's Eleanor Patterson wins gold medal in  women's high jump final

the world athletics championships held in Eugene, Oregon. 

She is one of the 10 Australian world champion athletes 

Eleanor Patterson  is just 26-year-old 

The Australian succeeded on her first attempt whereas the Ukrainian required two.

A gold medalist in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow
